The Environmental Justice Fund freely provides native San Bruno Mountain plants grown at Mission Blue Nursery to organizations that cultivate environmental equity through community gardens.

We wish to:

  • provide plants that benefit the landscapes of our partner organizations (pollinator plants, native edibles, wildlife-habitat, and more)

  • support connections between community members and the native plants of San Bruno Mountain—both connections that are already existing and new connections too

  • build relationships and collaborate with partner organizations on San Bruno Mountain, at the Mission Blue Nursery, and at their sites through mutual exchanges

  • maintain and develop this fund continually, providing plants now and into the future

Donate to the Environmental Justice Fund. Send a check written to the order of “San Bruno Mountain Watch” to PO Box 53 Brisbane, CA 94005. Please include '“Environmental Justice Fund” in the check memo. 100% of your donation will be reserved and dedicated to the Fund.

Your donations will make native plants freely available to the following organizations and the members of their communities:

The Florence Fang Community Farm started with a focus on serving Asian immigrants and sharing Asian gardening culture with all San Franciscans. Since our groundbreaking, we have expanded our mission to focus on the intergenerational and ethnic diversity that builds our garden and community. We seek to improve food security; increase healthy eating and activities; practice natural farming techniques; improve the environment; support neighborhood economic opportunity; and increase social connectedness within and between communities of color.
