Details:
Colma Creek flows from the peaks of San Bruno Mountain all the way to San Francisco Bay.
Help us revitalize a portion of Colma Creek's shoreline; together we can provide a vision of a more biodiverse, resilient, and beautiful creek.
Join us to weed invasive plants at the mouth of the creek along the Bay Trail, protect native species, pick up trash from the salt marsh habitat, and more!
Participants will learn about adaptation strategies to sea level rise/flooding on Colma Creek, the history and ecology of the Colma Creek watershed, and creek/salt marsh restoration efforts.
We’re excited to collaborate with the San Mateo County Youth Climate Ambassadors to host this event together on May 20th!
This event is part of the Colma Creek Restoration and Adaptation project, a partnership of the organizations shown here.
