Toyon is an attractive evergreen shrub that can grow to around ten feet tall. They are fairly fast growing and easy to care for. Toyon produces white flowers in the summer, followed by large clusters of bright red berries from fall through the winter. The berries are toxic to humans, but are a valuable source of food for birds and other wildlife.
