Get artsy with us at the Mission Blue Makerspace!
We’ll have a variety of fun activity stations set up for you, your friends, and your family (all-ages!) between 10am and 1pm at Mission Blue Nursery.
Anything you make, you can take!
Make botanical watercolors using plants in our nursery or demonstration garden
Make arrangements of cut flowers and plants in glass vases with plants in our nursery or demonstration garden
Make zines of pressed plants and flowers using plants from our nursery or demonstration garden
Paint and personalize terra cotta pots—then we’ll give you a plant to put inside it!
Decorate facemasks with images of native plants and animals from San Bruno Mountain
Make clay-terpillars (clay models of caterpillars like the endangered San Bruno Elfin)
Note, these activities are separate from our container-plant arrangement workshop, which has a different sign-up page.
