Interpretive Hike - Nike Missile Radar Site on San Bruno Mountain

Russ Aguilar, San Bruno Mountain Watch’s interpretive specialist, will lead a hike to the Nike Missile radar site on San Bruno Mountain from 10AM to 1PM on Saturday, April 26th

The walk will focus on an early-warning radar and missile-control site on the mountaintop, active beginning in the 1950s, as part of Nike anti-aircraft defense systems. The route will be about 3.5 miles round-trip.
