The Dune Defenders are once again battling ice plant. The Hottentot Fig was once considered the ground cover of choice. This non-native is a challenge to dune stewards, so come help and enjoy the unique surroundings. There will be a large group joining Mountain Watch for this Saturday's restoration work, so if you think you're coming, then notify Ariel so he can make sure there is enough equipment to go around. Stewards tackling ice plant

Volunteers should meet at 9:45am next to the Hilldale School at 250 Thiers Street, Daly City, 94014. Street parking is available, and overflow parking is also available on a gravel and dirt road next to the Hilldale School's entrance sign (this road is actually a continuation of Thiers St, not part of school property)
